Philip Jamison graduated from, and later taught at, the Philadelphia College of Art. Many artists choose watercolor as their medium, but few handle it as well as Philip Jamison. Jamison paints Chester County in the winter months and Vinalhaven, Maine, during the summer. With his poetic brushwork, he captures the colors and moods of the seasons, the delicate form and texture of flowers, and the intimacy of interiors.
