Nature is my inspiration and my work is an emotional response to Creation. Living all my life in Chester County has given me a deep appreciation for the beauty of this area. Many of my paintings are inspired by local farms, animals, and landscapes.

Art has always been a part of my life, but painting was something I did not discover until later. When I was young, drawing was something I always loved and much of my subjects were often animals or people. Although I consider myself a self-taught artist, I have gained invaluable instruction from other professionals along the way.

Over the years I have sold my work in various art shows, and currently sell my work in multiple galleries. For three years I have had the pleasure of participating in the Chester County Studio Tour. I have been involved with multiple charities and use my art to help special causes when able. One of the organizations I am associated with is Healing Art Works. Through this organization, I have been selected to place my art in four regional hospitals.

It is my desire to connect the viewer in an intimate way to my subject. Acrylics are my primary medium, but I also paint with oils and use various mediums at times. Harmony, rhythm, balance and color are the core of my art.
